MARK BROWN is an award-winning writer. His plays include Around the World in 80 Days (twice one of American Theatre magazine’s Top Ten Most Produced Plays), The Wild GameTom Jones the Musical, Tom Jones, The Quest For Don QuixoteThe Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, The Gentleman Thief, China The Whole Enchilada (his first collaboration with Paul Mirkovich, was named Outstanding Musical of the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival), Poe: Deep Into That Darkness Peering, and The Little Prince. Originally from New Jersey, Mark is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter and dreams of living on the Côte d’Azur.

 

 

 

 

Paul Mirkovich – Music

PAUL MIRKOVICH has been a musical director, keyboardist, singer, programmer, arranger, composer, and songwriter for over 30 years. Musical director credits include The Voice, the Emmy Awards Show, Pink, Hillary Duff, Cher, Janet Jackson, INXS, the CBS series RockStar INXS and RockStar Supernova, the MTV series Rock the Cradle, the FOX series Comic Strip Live, and many others. Paul has performed and recorded with such artists as Taylor Swift, Peter Gabriel, Foreigner, INXS, Shawn Colvin, Janet Jackson, Cher, The Calling, Anastasia, Whitesnake, and Billy Preston. He has appeared on television hundreds of times including live HBO specials with Cher and Janet Jackson, numerous appearances on the Tonight Show, The David Letterman Show, Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, Rosie O’Donnell, & Regis and Kathy Lee. In 2003, Paul received an Emmy nomination for best musical direction for a live comedy/variety special for the HBO production, Cher: The Farewell Tour. In 2008, Paul collaborated with Mark Brown on the musical China the Whole Enchilada. Paul received formal training in Composition/ Orchestration at the Dick Grove School of Music studying with Henry Mancini, Lalo Schifrin, and Claire Fischer.
